SOUTHERN CIRCULAR RESEARCH / CHANGING TIMES 2008 PUBLIC MEETINGS
|
|
Here are our 2008 meeting dates for public events in the south-east of the UK, as Changing Times, in association with Southern Circular Research, investigates crop circles, metaphysics and unexplained mysteries…
Across the year, Swirled News’s original parent organisation SCR (Southern Circular Research), together with the Changing Times group, gathers in West Sussex, UK, to hear the latest crop circle news and views - and related matters - with slides, videos and guest speakers in a lively and friendly atmosphere. All are welcome. Afterwards, we move to The Potter’s pub for drinks and chat.
See details below for directions to our venue. Burgess Hill is easy to get to by road or rail, and is only 40 minutes train journey from London Victoria or London Bridge and our venue is a simple five minute walk from the station.

ROAD DIRECTIONS:
Burgess Hill can be most easily reached by taking the A2300 from the A23 heading south from London, or by taking the A273 turn-off from the A23 shortly after leaving Brighton when heading north.
The entrance to Station Road can be approached from three ways:
1) First left at the traffic lights after the turning to Queen Elizabeth Avenue when heading south on the A273 London Road.
Or
2) Second right at the traffic lights (with an Indian restaurant on the corner) after the big roundabout crossed shortly after entering Burgess Hill heading north on the A273.
Or
3) Opposite Waitrose car park from Civic Way (near MacDonald’s).
The Scout Centre driveway entrance is just opposite ‘The Potter’s’ pub and the Centre has its own car park. If full, there is easy parking in Station Road.
RAIL DIRECTIONS:
There are regular services to Burgess Hill from London Victoria or London Bridge, or from Brighton or Worthing.
The Scout Centre is only five minutes walk from Burgess Hill railway station. Turn left as you leave the station and keep walking until you see the entrance to Station Road opposite Waitrose from Civic Way. Once in Station Road, ‘The Potter’s’ will be on your left after about two minutes, with the Scout Centre driveway opposite. Walk up the drive, into the building, and up the staircase on the right. Simple!
