CHANGING TIMES 2010 PUBLIC MEETINGS
|
|
Here are our 2010 meeting dates for public events in the south-east of the UK, as Changing Times, in association with Southern Circular Research, investigates unexplained mysteries, alternative views and global cover-ups...
Thought-provoking presentations in a friendly atmosphere, introduced by mysteries researcher and author ANDY THOMAS and the CHANGING TIMES group.
*
Across the year, Changing Times gathers in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, UK, to discuss all manner of 'alternative views', with visuals, videos and guest speakers in a lively and friendly atmosphere. All are welcome. Afterwards, we move to The Potter’s pub for drinks and chat.
See details below for directions to our venue. Burgess Hill is easy to get to by road or rail, and is only 40 minutes train journey from London Victoria or London Bridge and our venue is a simple five minute walk from the station.

DATES FOR 2010:
[Please note that all meetings begin at 8.15pm, prompt]
Thurs 17 JUNE - THE ALTERNATIVE THREE CONTROVERSY:
Nexus Magazine’s MARCUS ALLEN and author ANDY THOMAS show and discuss the infamous 1970’s ITV hoax documentary Alternative Three, which frightened the UK public into believing that imminent global destruction through climate change was driving a secret evacuation of the world’s elite to hidden bases on the Moon and Mars. What truths did this ‘spoof’ mask, and why do some today still believe the content was real..?
Thurs 16 SEPTEMBER - CROP CIRCLES OF 2010:
ANDY THOMAS gives a complete round-up of the crop circles from the 2010 season, assessing the discoveries, intrigues and controversies of the year in a comprehensive overview.
Thurs 4 NOVEMBER - ‘BREAKING THE CHAINS OF OUR PARADIGM PRISON’:
Speaker IAN BAILLIE says: ‘As a consciousness tsunami hits the beach in 2012, will you be washed away? Of course not, because we have already started to break the chains of global mind control that bind us!’ Ian, author of Forbidden Science and Rebel Spirit, presents past-life memory evidence that shows we have nothing to fear except fear itself.

ROAD DIRECTIONS:
Burgess Hill can be most easily reached by taking the A2300 from the A23 heading south from London, or by taking the A273 turn-off from the A23 shortly after leaving Brighton when heading north.
The entrance to Station Road can be approached from three ways:
1) First left at the traffic lights after the turning to Queen Elizabeth Avenue when heading south on the A273 London Road.
Or
2) Second right at the traffic lights (with an Indian restaurant on the corner) after the big roundabout crossed shortly after entering Burgess Hill heading north on the A273.
Or
3) Opposite Waitrose car park from Civic Way (near MacDonald’s).
The Scout Centre driveway entrance is just opposite ‘The Potter’s’ pub and the Centre has its own car park. If full, there is easy parking in Station Road.
RAIL DIRECTIONS:
There are regular services to Burgess Hill from London Victoria or London Bridge, or from Brighton or Worthing.
The Scout Centre is only five minutes walk from Burgess Hill railway station. Turn left as you leave the station and keep walking until you see the entrance to Station Road opposite Waitrose from Civic Way. Once in Station Road, ‘The Potter’s’ will be on your left after about two minutes, with the Scout Centre driveway opposite. Walk up the drive, into the building, and up the staircase on the right. Simple!
